Their debut ”Dodovoodoo” received excellent international reviews upon its release in 2008 with top marks from Mojo, Uncut, Downbeat and Jazzwise, while All Music Guide called it amazing. With ”Walk The Nile” they are not only delivering the goods again, but it´s a general improvement on all accounts. More concerts have made them an even tighter entity and the musicianship on display is simply dazzling. Sporting five originals from Ståle Storløkken and one from Nikolai Hængsle, the all analogue recording from Grand Sport Studios in Oslo gives it a gorgeous, organic late sixties, early seventees feel combining elements from rock, jazz, psychedelia, funk and prog. Simply fantastic stuff and highly recommended.
